Mosses, AL- The Town of Mosses Police Chief DeMarcus Weems has achieved another milestone in his career in law enforcement. Weems recently earned his Level 1 Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police Certification in Police Management (AACOP).
“I am humbled by this award” Weems said. “Hard work pays off, and I will continue to work harder to serve and protect the citizens in Mosses, as well as the whole state of Alabama.”
Weems was appointed as The Town of Mosses Police Chief in May of last year. Since then, Weems has hosted several community events to include Lowndes County Connection Day, The Town of Mosses Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, and The Town of Mosses Inaugural Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway.
AACOP represents the over 350 professional Chiefs of Police in the State of Alabama.
