Alabama State University will open an exciting new entertainment venue at The ASU Stadium on August 18. “The Nest” offers a “taste of Bama State Spirit” with great food, fun and entertainment.
The venue will be managed by Aramark, ASU’s food service provider.
“The Nest is not the typical eatery or entertainment spot,” said Aramark general manager, Xavier Hicks. The facility has a more sophisticated ambiance that is designed to be a ‘nest’ for adults who want to enjoy fine or casual dining and great entertainment. The venue features 19 television screens, a full bar, a performance stage and a dance floor. We also have a few surprise elements that we know our guests will love. ’The Nest’ will be one of the ‘happening’ spots in Montgomery.”
Hicks said more details about “The Nest” will come during the grand opening, which is open to the public.
“Aramark has made a significant investment in this facility with a goal of making it a premier ASU venue. We want people to come out and see what ‘The Nest’ has to offer. Everyone is welcome, and we will have food and musical entertainment that evening,” Hicks added.
The grand opening will be held on August 18 and will start with a ribbon cutting and press conference at 4:45 p.m.
