Dr. Tiffany H. Taft is founder and executive director of Sacred Soul Wellness LLC, an integrated wellness and natural care center. She treats the WHOLE person: mind, body and spirit.
She is an Integrative Health and Wellness therapist and specializes in holistic health services that promote healing naturally. She is licensed and certified as a Neuromuscular Medical Massage Therapist, Advanced Yoga Instructor, Reflexologist, Aromatherapist, Birth/Postpartum Doula, childbirth educator and Reiki Master, a hands-free approach that encourages emotional and physical healing.
“My focus is on the mind, body and spirit connection,” said Dr. Taft, who has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL; Master’s degrees in Health Care Administration and Information Resource Management from Central Michigan University; and a Doctoral degree from Capella University in General Information Technology with a specialization in Cybersecurity.
Her educational career is ongoing as she is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a double major in Psychology and she plans to
continue her studies to complete a second doctorate as a Nurse Practitioner focus on Maternal/Fetal Health/Women’s Health. Among her achievements, she is an international best-selling author and a featured author in the anthology, “Thrive Girl Thrive: A Women’s Guide to Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual Wellbeing”. Her chapter focused on women’s wellness of their womb.
Before treating a client, Dr. Taft conducts a clinical client intake which includes understanding the client’s current medications, work-life balance, current concerns and other areas of their life that may affect the disease in their body. “I use the information given and observed through client discussion to build a customized plan in collaboration to help support the healing process best suited for my clients.”
When she talks with clients suffering from chronic pain, Dr. Taft describes “having a real discussion about what it is that they are physically feeling, but also what they are dealing with emotionally because the body holds emotion. Pain more often than not is both physical and emotional (mind-body connection) and plays an important role in our overall wellbeing. If you can shift your thinking into a more positive way, for most this is where the healing begins.” Her services blend Western and Eastern medicine concepts and is evidence-based complementary and alternative services.
Dr. Taft is a native of Montgomery and has recently returned to the city where she opened her practice in September in her office located downtown on Dexter Avenue.
A graduate of Sidney Lanier High School. Dr. Taft’s health care background began shortly after graduation from high school with her career in the United States Navy where she served as a Hospital Corpman providing hands on patient care.
After spending time in the IT field, Dr. Taft returned to the health care arena and started her health and wellness business in 2004. She provides holistic services to clients in her office at the RSA Dexter Avenue Building at 445 Dexter Ave, Suite 4050.
She also offers corporate options for health fairs, wellness workshops, and speaking engagements as well as gift certificates for any of her coaching or wellness services.
