MONTGOMERY — The Montgomery Police Department has charged Jalen Walker,
20, of Prattville, Alabama, with Murder.
Walker was identified as a suspect in the shooting death of Shelby McGhee, 40, of
Montgomery. He was taken into custody on July 28, 2022 and then placed in the
Montgomery County Detention Facility under a 1.5 million dollar bond.
No additional information is available for release in connection to this continuing
investigation.
