Montgomery, Ala. – May 24, 2019 – The Chamber’s new Diversity Dialogue series will feature forums and networking opportunities that harness the power of diversity. This series enhances and continues the conversations typical of the Chamber’s popular Diversity Summit event.
In the first event of the series, representatives from large and small, tech and traditional companies will share their experiences on diversifying not only their workforce but their workplace to increase productivity and employee morale. Facilitated by Ashley Jernigan, owner of JDB Hospitality, the panel will include Delali Dzirasa, founder and president of Fearless, the forward-thinking, Baltimore-based company that was recently announced as a partner in the BESPIN software development project; Julian Petty, Owner of LAF Game Company and the new workSHOP coworking and retail facility in Hampstead; and Wade Preston, co-owner of Prevail Union Montgomery, the downtown coffee shop and popular remote work space for untethered professionals from around the city.
“Diversity goes beyond how your workforce looks – it’s about an inclusive approach that allows every employee to bring the best of what they have to offer to the job, from the office culture to the workplace itself,” explained Sheron Rose, VP of Community Strategies for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are excited to engage the business community in a discussion about how to renew, revitalize and revamp your business by harnessing thinking beyond the cubicle walls.”
