Senior Spotlight- Jordan Stokes

Jordan Lora Alexandria Stokes is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen and Diane Stokes. Jordan is a well-rounded scholar- having participated in numerous community service activities, volunteering over 306 hours from June 2020 to date to include: Tutoring Children of Incarcerated Parents, Adopt- A- Family- for Christmas, Move Montgomery- Mayor’s Office, Feed the Hungry Montgomery, Sunshine Center-I-Care for battered women/children, Clean Inner-City School, and Service-Disabled Children.

Jordan graduated Valedictorian from Valleydale Christian Academy with a grade point average of 4.31 on 4.0 scale.

Jordan is a Delegate for Congresswoman Terri Sewell for the MLK Freedom Center/ Stanford University; a program that fosters civic participation. While still in high school, Jordan was dual enrolled in the Early College Program with the University of Alabama, where she made the Directors List 7 times, and received the UA Early College Honor Cord. While dual enrolled, Jordan earned 35 college credit hours and achieved a 4.0 GPA. She was also, a UA Early College Ambassador for the State of Alabama. She is a very dedicated student and always applied herself to excel academically.  She constantly strives to work hard and perform at a high level to make great grades.

Jordan will attend the University of Alabama, -accepted into The Honors College majoring in Chemical Engineering. Jordan plans to continue her studies at UA and has been accepted into the Path to Stem Early Candidacy MBA Program at The University of Alabama and then plans to finish her studies Vanderbilt Medical School to become an Anesthesiologist.

Jordan will be entering the University of Alabama as a 2nd semester Sophomore.
