Montgomery, AL- In a spirit of giving back, the ASU F Phi B Alumni Association will tee up its inaugural golf scramble event for an opportunity of fundraising, food, fellowship, and fun.
On August 16th come out and support The Hornet Football program by playing one of the best courses in the nation Robert Trent Jones at Capitol Hill. Amongst those participating will be none other than Head Coach Eddie Robinson, Coach Reggie Barlow, recently named Head Coach of the Washington D.C. XFL Team, along with a host of other surprise guests and local
stake holders. This tournament is to further the mission of former players continuing to have an impact and influence by way of giving back some of our time, talents, and resources.
All funds go to facilitate the overall needs of the student athletes within the Alabama State University football program. We have done everything from having weight benches re-upholstered, upgrading nutrition sites within the facility, purchasing new weight room equipment, SWARMAS1 gear for the team and Smartbands for the coaches and bridging the gap from a quality of life standpoint for current players.
We are committed to professionalism within our organization, along with providing tangible role models having impact with these young men, daily. On behalf of our President, Coach Reggie Barlow.
Registration begins at 7:00am and the Shotgun Start is at 8:00am. Lunch and prizes will be immediately following.
