Several Montgomery County roads are set to receive major improvements in the coming months thanks to recent funding from the Montgomery County Commission.
In February, Commissioners approved funding for 34 road improvement projects across the county. The projects include repaving and traffic striping totaling over 59 miles.
Funding for the road improvements comes from the Montgomery County Rebuild Alabama Fund (CRAF), Federal Aid Exchange Fund, and Montgomery County General Funds. The total cost of the projects is $6,840,833.07.
Minor delays and traffic pattern changes are expected during the construction process.
